Atlantis World — Web3 social metaverse + $1M NFT sale

Lead blockchain engineer (promoted from blockchain engineer)

A 2D pixel-art Web3 social metaverse where players walked a shared world as characters, talked over voice and video with anyone nearby, and stepped into in-game buildings that wrapped real DeFi protocols. Built the game client on React, Chakra UI, and Vite, and led a full JavaScript-to-TypeScript migration. Started as blockchain engineer, promoted to lead blockchain engineer; owned 13 of the 18 DeFi/Web3 protocol integrations end-to-end (Yearn Finance, 1inch, Balancer, Aave, Perpetual Protocol, Moola, Lens Protocol, Filecoin, Snapshot, NFT.Storage, POAP, PoolTogether, Swapr) and contributed to and oversaw 5 more alongside the team (Trader Joe, mStable, Float Capital, dYdX, ENS). Owned the NFT-sale launch. Atlantis World was later rebranded into Limitless Labs.

Promoted from blockchain engineer to lead blockchain engineer. Built the Atlantis City game client on React, Chakra UI, and Vite. Owned 13 of the 18 DeFi/Web3 protocol integrations end-to-end — Yearn Finance, 1inch, Balancer, Aave, Perpetual Protocol, Moola, Lens Protocol, Filecoin, Snapshot, NFT.Storage, POAP, PoolTogether, and Swapr — and contributed to and oversaw 5 more alongside the team (Trader Joe, mStable, Float Capital, dYdX, ENS). Ran the live shift for the community NFT sale that raised approximately $1M in ETH.

• Built the Atlantis City game client on React, Chakra UI, and Vite with Ridge state management. Led a full JavaScript-to-TypeScript migration across the game client, introducing typed React components, TypeChain bindings, TypeScript import aliases, and tsconfig configuration.
• Owned 13 DeFi/Web3 protocol integrations end-to-end — Yearn Finance, 1inch, Balancer, Aave, Perpetual Protocol, Moola, Lens Protocol, Filecoin, Snapshot, NFT.Storage, POAP, PoolTogether, and Swapr — each shipped as a pixel-art dApp UI fronting an in-game NPC or building; contributed to and oversaw 5 more alongside the team (Trader Joe, mStable, Float Capital, dYdX, ENS).
• Built end-to-end Web3 authentication flows — MetaMask via ethers.js + TypeChain for the dApp, Discord OAuth and Socket.IO game server auth for the social metaverse client, and Alchemy REST client + Moralis integration for wallet data aggregation. Implemented Guild.xyz DAO-gated access and Snapshot voting flows for the metaverse community.
• Set up the IPFS asset pipeline (CID-referenced assets replacing local bundles), Docker containerization, and GitHub Actions CI/CD for automated deployment to Netlify.
• Owned MetaMask wallet integration and ethers.js + TypeChain typed smart-contract bindings consumed by reusable React + TypeScript components across the game client and NFT-sale dApp.
• Authored the NFT-sale dApp on Next.js 13 + Chakra UI + RainbowKit + wagmi, and the Solidity 0.8.11 sale contract (OpenZeppelin ERC-721 + ERC-2981 + AccessControl + ReentrancyGuard) audited by an independent reviewer.
• Built a Node.js signature-verification service that returned Merkle proofs and encoded sale args for the allowlist mint, plus Node.js airdrop scripts that distributed tokens and NFTs to early supporters.
• Pushed Hardhat + Waffle + Chai smart-contract test coverage and ran repeated pre-launch contract reviews alongside the engineering team before the sale went live.
• Manually walked end-to-end flows on Rinkeby, Polygon Mumbai, Avalanche, and Arbitrum testnets before promoting any integration to mainnet (Ethereum + Polygon).
• Stayed on-shift during the live NFT-sale launch on a Europe timezone until 5–6 PM local; the sale raised approximately $1M in ETH.
